    Start at the Burbank Metrolink Station. Exit the station and head south on San Fernando Blvd. Walk for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Olive Ave. Turn right onto Olive Ave and continue for another 0.5 miles. Once you reach the intersection with Hollywood Way, turn left. You will be walking towards the hills of Griffith Park. After about 1 mile, you will reach the entrance to Griffith Park. Continue walking along the park paths for approximately 1.5 miles until you reach the Griffith Observatory. From the observatory, you can follow the signs leading to the trails that take you closer to the Hollywood Sign. The most popular trail is the Hollyridge Trail, which can take about 1 hour to reach a good viewpoint of the sign.
