Getting There

  • Walking

    From the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, head north on Beach Street towards the Wharf. Turn left onto Cliff Street. Boardwalk Bowl will be on your left, across from the Casino Arcade. The walk is approximately 5 minutes and is mostly flat.

  • Public Transport

    The Santa Cruz Trolley operates on weekends from Memorial Day to Labor Day and stops near the Boardwalk. From downtown Santa Cruz, catch the trolley in front of the Del Mar Theatre on Pacific Avenue or at the Locust Street Garage. Get off at the stop near the Monterey Bay Sanctuary Exploration Center on Pacific Avenue, then walk towards the Boardwalk and turn left onto Cliff Street. The trolley costs $0.25 per ride.

  • Driving

    From Highway 17, take the Ocean Street exit towards the beach. Follow Ocean Street until it turns into Beach Street. Continue on Beach Street, then turn left onto Cliff Street. Boardwalk Bowl will be on your left. Free parking is available for Boardwalk Bowl guests at the corner of Cliff and First Street. However, parking is paid on the 4th of July weekend, but the fee doubles as a voucher to use at the Boardwalk Bowl for bowling and shoe rental. Alternatively, paid parking is available in the Boardwalk parking lots along Beach Street for $20-$35 depending on the day.
