    From Campbell, head to the nearest bus stop at Campbell Avenue & Winchester Blvd. Take the VTA Bus 26 towards San Jose Diridon Station. Travel for about 20 minutes until you reach the stop at Santa Cruz & 5th Avenue. Transfer to the Santa Cruz Metro Bus 4 towards Capitola Mall. Continue on this bus for approximately 25 minutes until you reach the Capitola Village stop. From there, walk towards the beach by heading southwest on Capitola Avenue, and you will arrive at Capitola State Beach.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the local bike rental shops in Campbell. Start your journey by heading south on Campbell Ave towards Winchester Blvd. Turn left onto Winchester Blvd and continue until you reach the intersection with Highway 17. Follow the bike lane to the left towards Santa Cruz. After about 5 miles, take the exit for Soquel Drive and continue until you reach Capitola. Follow the signs to Capitola State Beach.

  • Walking

    For the adventurous walker, start from downtown Campbell and head south on Campbell Ave. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Winchester Blvd. Turn left and walk for about 1 mile until you reach the bus stop at Santa Cruz & 5th Avenue. From there, you can catch the Santa Cruz Metro Bus 4 towards Capitola Mall. After a 25-minute ride, get off at the Capitola Village stop, then walk southwest on Capitola Avenue toward the beach.
