    Public Transit

    From Castro Valley, walk to the Castro Valley BART station, located at 3301 Norbridge Dr, Castro Valley, CA 94546. Take the BART train towards San Francisco/Daly City. You will need to transfer trains at the 12th St. Oakland City Center station. Board the train heading towards the 'Daly City' direction and travel until you reach the 'Civic Center/UN Plaza' station in San Francisco. Once you arrive, exit the BART station and head northwest on Market St toward 7th St. Continue on Market St until you reach 8th St, then turn left. Walk up to Hayes St and turn right. Alamo Square Park will be ahead on your left.

    Walking and Bus

    Begin at the Castro Valley BART station, located at 3301 Norbridge Dr. From there, walk to the nearest bus stop at the corner of Norbridge Dr and Castro Valley Blvd. Take the AC Transit bus line 33 towards Eastmont Transit Center. Ride the bus for about 20 minutes and get off at the 'San Leandro BART' station. From there, transfer to the BART train towards San Francisco/Daly City. Get off at the 'Civic Center/UN Plaza' station, and then walk north on Market St to 8th St. Turn left onto Hayes St, and Alamo Square will be on your left side.
