    Getting There

    BART Train

    From Castro Valley BART station, board a train heading towards 'Daly City' or 'San Francisco' (make sure to check the destination on the electronic board). Stay on the train for about 25 minutes until you reach the 'Embarcadero' station. Once you arrive at Embarcadero, exit the station and follow the signs to the 'Ferry Building.' From the Ferry Building, you will need to walk to the nearby Pier 41. Head northwest along the Embarcadero for about 0.5 miles (10-15 minutes walk) until you reach Fisherman's Wharf. Pier 41 will be located on your left.

    Bus

    From Castro Valley, take the AC Transit Bus Line 31 from the nearest bus stop. Ride to the 'Hayward BART' station. From there, transfer to the BART train and take it towards 'Daly City' or 'San Francisco.' Get off at the 'Embarcadero' station. After exiting, walk towards the 'Ferry Building,' then continue walking northwest along the Embarcadero for about 0.5 miles until you reach Pier 41.

    Walking/Biking

    If you enjoy walking or biking, start from the center of Castro Valley and head to Lake Chabot Trail. Follow the trail towards the Bay Area Ridge Trail, which will lead you through scenic paths to the San Francisco Bay. Continue towards the nearest public transport options that connect to the BART or bus lines heading to San Francisco. Once in the city, follow the same walking directions as mentioned above to reach Pier 41.
