    From downtown Castro Valley, walk to the Castro Valley BART station located at 3301 Norbridge Dr. Board a train heading towards the San Francisco International Airport (SFO) direction. Ride for about 10 minutes, and disembark at the Hayward BART station. Once you arrive at the Hayward BART station, exit the station and head north on B St towards Winton Ave. After approximately 0.5 miles, you will reach the intersection with Winton Ave. Cross the street and continue walking west on Winton Ave for about 1 mile until you reach Hayward Regional Shoreline located at 3010 W Winton Ave. The park entrance is on your right.

    If you are closer to the southern part of Castro Valley, you can walk to Hayward Regional Shoreline directly. Start from the Castro Valley High School located at 19400 Santa Maria Ave, and head south on Santa Maria Ave. After about 0.3 miles, turn left onto Winton Ave. Continue walking west on Winton Ave for about 1.5 miles. You will find Hayward Regional Shoreline at 3010 W Winton Ave on your right. The walk will take approximately 30-35 minutes.
