From Castro Valley, walk to the Castro Valley BART station. Take the BART train towards San Francisco/Daly City. After about 30 minutes, get off at the Embarcadero station. Transfer to the Muni bus 5-Fulton at the bus stop adjacent to the station. Ride the bus for about 30 minutes, and get off at the stop at California St & 6th Ave. From there, walk straight on California St for about 0.3 miles until you reach El Camino Del Mar. Turn left onto El Camino Del Mar, and continue walking for about 0.5 miles until you reach Lands End Trail at 916 El Camino Del Mar.

If you are near the center of Castro Valley, start by heading to the nearest BART station. Walk towards the Castro Valley BART station and board the train to San Francisco. Once you arrive at the Embarcadero station, exit and look for the Muni bus stop. Board bus 5-Fulton, and travel for approximately 30 minutes. Disembark at California St & 6th Ave. Walk straight for 0.3 miles on California St, then turn left onto El Camino Del Mar. Continue walking for another 0.5 miles to reach Lands End Trail at 916 El Camino Del Mar.
