From Castro Valley, walk to the nearest bus stop on Castro Valley Blvd & Redwood Rd. Take the AC Transit Bus Line 30 towards 'Bay Fair BART'. After about 30 minutes, get off at the Bay Fair BART station. From there, take the BART train towards 'Daly City' and get off at the 'Embarcadero' station in San Francisco. Once you exit the station, transfer to the Muni F-Line streetcar at the Embarcadero & Market St stop. Ride the F-Line towards 'Fisherman's Wharf' and get off at the 'Fisherman's Wharf & Taylor St' stop. From there, it’s a short walk to Pier 45, where Musée Mécanique is located.

Walk to the Castro Valley BART station located at 3300 Castro Valley Blvd. Take the BART train towards 'SFO/Millbrae' and get off at the 'Embarcadero' station in San Francisco. From Embarcadero, exit the station and walk towards the waterfront. Head northwest on Embarcadero towards the Ferry Building, then continue walking along the waterfront until you reach Fisherman's Wharf. Follow the signs to Pier 45, where you will find Musée Mécanique.
