Public Transit (Bus)
From Castro Valley, head to the nearest bus stop on Castro Valley Blvd. Take the AC Transit bus 99 heading towards the Bay Fair BART station. Ride the bus for approximately 15 minutes. Get off at the Bay Fair BART station. From there, board the BART train towards San Francisco/Daly City. After about 30-35 minutes, get off at the Castro station in San Francisco. Upon exiting the station, you will be in the heart of The Castro area, which is a short walk away from various attractions.
Walking
If you are already in Castro Valley, you might want to explore the area on foot. Start at the Castro Valley Park and walk towards Castro Valley Blvd. From there, head south towards the intersection with Lake Chabot Rd. Continue walking until you reach the Castro Valley BART station. Once there, follow the earlier instructions to take the BART train to San Francisco.
Rideshare (Uber/Lyft)
Open your rideshare app and set your pickup location to wherever you are in Castro Valley. Enter 'The Castro, San Francisco, CA 94114' as your destination. Depending on traffic, the ride would take about 30-40 minutes. Make sure to check the estimated fare before confirming your ride.
