Public Transit
From downtown Castro Valley, walk to the Castro Valley BART station. Take the BART train towards San Francisco/Daly City. After approximately 35 minutes, get off at the Embarcadero station. Transfer to the Montgomery Street station and take the Muni bus or walk towards Chinatown. If walking, exit the station and head northeast on Montgomery St. Continue onto Kearny St, then turn left onto Washington St. Walk until you reach Columbus Ave. Turn right on Columbus Ave, and you will find Vesuvio Cafe at 255 Columbus Ave on your left.

If you are in Castro Valley and prefer walking, head towards the nearest BART station. Once at Castro Valley BART, take the train as described above. Once you arrive at the Embarcadero station, you can either walk or take Muni. If walking, exit the station and head northwest on Market St. Continue on Market until you reach the intersection with Montgomery St. Head north on Montgomery St, then turn left onto Washington St and proceed to Columbus Ave. The cafe will be on your left at 255 Columbus Ave.
