If you are starting from the Castro Valley BART station, exit the station and head west on Castro Valley Blvd. Continue walking straight for about 0.3 miles until you reach the intersection with Redwood Rd. Turn left onto Redwood Rd and walk for about 0.5 miles. You will pass by several shops and restaurants along the way. After you pass the intersection with Lake Chabot Rd, you will start to see signs for Five Canyons Open Space. Continue walking straight for another 0.3 miles until you reach the entrance at MXRC+FC, 5909 Gold Creek Dr.

From your location in Castro Valley, make your way to the nearest bus stop that services AC Transit. You can take the AC Transit bus line 31 or 30 towards Hayward or San Leandro.
