Once you arrive at the Embarcadero station, exit the train and follow the signs to the Market Street exit. After exiting, walk towards the Transbay Terminal and catch the Muni bus 'F' line or the 'N' line towards Fisherman’s Wharf. Get off at the 'Lombard St & Leavenworth St' stop, which is a short walk from Lombard Street.

From there, take the BART train to the Montgomery St. station in San Francisco. After arriving at Montgomery St., exit the station and walk to the Powell St. cable car stop. Take the Powell-Hyde cable car line, which will give you a scenic ride to the top of Lombard Street. The cable car will drop you off near the intersection of Lombard St. and Hyde St.
