Getting There

  • Car

    If you're traveling by car, take Highway 99 to Visalia. From Visalia, follow Highway 198 East toward Sequoia National Park. As you approach the park, continue onto Generals Highway, which will lead you directly to the park entrance. Expect to pay an entrance fee of $35 per vehicle, valid for seven days. After entering the park, follow Generals Highway for about 18 miles until you see signs for Moro Rock. Park in the designated area near the Moro Rock trailhead.

  • Public Transportation + Shuttle

    For those relying on public transportation, take a Greyhound or Amtrak bus to Visalia. From the Visalia bus station, you can catch the Sequoia Shuttle, which operates seasonally from mid-April to mid-September. The shuttle will take you to Sequoia National Park. Upon arrival at the park, make sure to take the shuttle to the Moro Rock stop, where you will have a short walk to the trailhead. Note that the shuttle fare is approximately $15 round trip.
