Public Transit - Bus
Start at the nearest bus stop in Chula Vista. If you are near the Chula Vista Center, walk to the bus stop located at 555 Broadway. From there, take the MTS Bus Route 901 towards San Diego. Ride the bus for approximately 25 minutes until you reach the 'H Street Transit Center'. Transfer to the Route 901 towards Coronado. Stay on this bus for about 15 minutes, and get off at the 'Coronado Ferry Landing' stop. From there, walk towards the ferry terminal and board the Coronado Ferry, which will take you directly to Coronado Island.

Public Transit - Trolley
Locate the nearest trolley station in Chula Vista, such as the 'Bayfront/E Street Trolley Station'. Board the Orange Line Trolley heading towards 'Santee Town Center'. After about 30 minutes, transfer at the 'Civic Center Station' to the Blue Line Trolley towards 'San Ysidro'. Ride for about 15 minutes. Get off at the 'Coronado Trolley Station'. From there, you can walk or take a local bus to the Coronado Ferry Landing.

Bicycle Rental
If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local bike rental shops in Chula Vista. Head towards the San Diego Bayfront Bike Path, which is accessible from various points in Chula Vista. Cycle along the waterfront towards Coronado, following signs for the bike path to Coronado. The ride will take around 45 minutes to an hour, depending on your pace. Once you reach the Coronado Bridge, you can either continue across the bridge (if permitted) or park your bike and take the ferry to the island.

If you are up for a long walk, start from the Chula Vista Marina. Walk along the waterfront path heading towards the San Diego Bay. Follow the signs to the Coronado Ferry Landing.
