Getting There

  • Walking

    Start at the Coronado Ferry Landing. Exit the ferry terminal and head towards the main street, Orange Avenue. Walk along Orange Avenue towards the north. When you reach the intersection with 1st Street, turn left. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Glorietta Boulevard. Turn right onto Glorietta Boulevard and continue walking. Follow Glorietta Boulevard until it curves and becomes Harbor Island Drive. Continue on Harbor Island Drive, and you will see Harbor Island Park on your right. The park offers beautiful views of the San Diego skyline and the harbor.

  • Biking

    Begin at Coronado's Central Beach area. Head west towards the Silver Strand Bike Path. Follow the bike path along the coast, enjoying the scenery. After approximately 1.5 miles, you will reach the intersection with 5th Avenue. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Harbor Drive. Merge onto Harbor Drive and bike north. You will pass the San Diego Convention Center and the Maritime Museum. Stay on Harbor Drive, and soon you will arrive at Harbor Island Park, which will be on your left side.

  • Public Transit

    From the Coronado Ferry Landing, take the bus route 901 towards Downtown San Diego. Get off at the 'N Harbor Dr & W Broadway' stop. From there, walk southwest on Harbor Drive for about 10 minutes, passing by the San Diego Convention Center and the USS Midway Museum. Continue walking until you see the entrance to Harbor Island Park on your right. Enjoy the park’s scenic views and recreational areas.
