Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Coronado Ferry Landing, head towards the main street, Orange Avenue. Walk north along Orange Avenue for about 1.5 miles until you reach Pomona Avenue. Turn left onto Pomona Avenue, and continue walking for about 0.3 miles. Mathewson Park will be on your right at 700 Pomona Ave. Look for the park entrance and enjoy the greenery!

    From the Coronado Ferry Landing, you can rent a bike and ride along the Silver Strand Bikeway. Head south for about 1 mile, then turn left onto Pomona Avenue. Continue for about 0.5 miles. Mathewson Park will be on your left at 700 Pomona Ave. There are bike racks available for you to secure your bike.

    While there is limited public transportation in Coronado, you can take the Coronado Trolley from various locations around town.
