Ferry
To reach Old Town Market from Coronado, start by making your way to the Coronado Ferry Landing. After arriving at the ferry terminal, purchase a ticket for the ferry to San Diego. The ferry ride will take approximately 15 minutes and offers beautiful views of the San Diego skyline. Once you arrive at the San Diego Convention Center, exit the ferry and walk towards the Gaslamp Quarter. From there, head west along Harbor Drive until you reach the intersection with 5th Avenue, then turn left. Continue walking until you reach the Old Town Transit Center.
Public Bus
From any point in Coronado, make your way to the Coronado Village, specifically to the bus stop located on Orange Avenue. Take the MTS bus route 901 towards Downtown San Diego. The bus ride will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Old Town Transit Center, exit the bus and follow the signs to Old Town Market, which is just a short 5-minute walk from the transit center at 4010 Twiggs St.
Biking
If you prefer biking, rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Coronado. Start your ride on the Coronado Bike Path, heading towards the San Diego-Coronado Bridge. Cross the bridge and continue straight on 4th Avenue. After about a mile, take a left onto Twiggs Street. Old Town Market will be on your left at 4010 Twiggs St. The entire ride should take around 30-40 minutes depending on your pace.
Walking
If you’re feeling adventurous, you can walk to Old Town Market. Start by heading towards the Coronado Ferry Landing and take the ferry to San Diego. After disembarking at the San Diego Convention Center, walk towards 5th Avenue and take a right. Continue straight until you reach the Old Town Transit Center. From there, it’s just a short 5-minute walk to Old Town Market located at 4010 Twiggs St. This option will take approximately 1 hour in total but provides a scenic view of the waterfront.
