    To reach Shelter Island from Coronado, take the Coronado Ferry from the Coronado Ferry Landing. The ferry terminal is located at 1201 1st St, Coronado, CA 92118. Board the ferry, which will take approximately 15 minutes to cross the bay to the San Diego side. Once you arrive at the Broadway Pier, disembark and head towards the waterfront.

  • Public Transit (Bus)

    If you prefer to take public transit, you can catch the MTS Bus Route 901 at various stops in Coronado, such as the Coronado Village Library. Ride the bus toward downtown San Diego. Once you reach the bus station at 12th & Imperial Transit Center, transfer to the MTS Bus Route 84, heading toward Point Loma. Get off at the Shelter Island Dr & Anchorage Ln stop, which is close to Shelter Island.
