If you're feeling adventurous and would like to bike to Aliso & Wood Canyons Wilderness Park, rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Costa Mesa. Start from downtown Costa Mesa and head south on Newport Blvd. Continue onto Pacific Coast Hwy (PCH) until you reach Laguna Niguel. From there, turn left onto Alicia Parkway and bike north for about 2 miles. The entrance to the park will be on your left. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow traffic rules. The total distance is about 8 miles, which may take around 45 minutes depending on your pace.
