From Costa Mesa, head to the nearest bus stop and take the OCTA bus route 57 towards Fullerton. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes. Get off at the Disneyland stop, which is a popular destination for tourists. From there, follow the signs to Disneyland Park. Tom Sawyer's Island is located within Disneyland, so ensure you have a valid ticket to enter the park.

If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bicycle from a local rental shop in Costa Mesa. Start your journey on 19th Street heading east until you reach Newport Boulevard. Turn left on Newport Boulevard and continue to the intersection with W 17th St. Turn right and follow W 17th St until you reach the Santa Ana River Trail. Take the trail north, which will lead you towards the Disneyland Resort area. Once you arrive at the resort, follow the signs to Disneyland Park. Remember to secure a ticket for entry.

For those who prefer to walk, you can head to the nearest bus or train station in Costa Mesa. From there, take the Metrolink train towards Anaheim. The train ride will take approximately 45 minutes. Once you arrive at the Anaheim station, you can walk to Disneyland Park, which is about a 20-minute walk. Follow the signs to Disneyland, and once inside, head towards Tom Sawyer's Island.
