Local know-how to help you travel smarter and make the most of every moment.
Public Transit
From Costa Mesa, walk to the nearest bus stop and take the OC Bus Route 57 towards Fullerton. Ride the bus for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the Disneyland Resort stop. Once you get off, follow the signs leading to Disneyland Park. Frontierland Shootin’ Exposition is located inside Disneyland Park, so you will need to purchase an entry ticket to access the attraction.
Biking
If you're up for a bike ride, rent a bike from one of the local bike rental shops in Costa Mesa. Head northwest on W 19th St towards Santa Ana Ave, then turn right onto Santa Ana Ave. Continue straight until you reach the Santa Ana River Trail. Follow the trail north until you reach Disneyland. The ride should take about 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on your pace. Once you arrive, lock your bike at one of the bike racks near the entrance of Disneyland Park.
Walking
For those adventurous enough to walk, start from the center of Costa Mesa and head towards the nearest bus stop to catch a bus heading towards Disneyland Resort. However, walking directly to Disneyland from Costa Mesa is quite lengthy (approximately 6 miles) and can take about 2 hours. If you choose this option, take the following route: head north on Fairview Rd, then turn left onto MacArthur Blvd. Continue on MacArthur Blvd until you reach the intersection with Disneyland Dr, where you will see Disneyland Park. Enter through the main gate to access Frontierland Shootin’ Exposition.
