Car
If you are driving, start from Furnace Creek Visitor Center, the main hub in Death Valley National Park. Head south on CA-190 for about 5 miles until you reach the intersection with Badwater Road. Turn left onto Badwater Road and continue for approximately 16 miles. You will pass by the Badwater Basin, the lowest point in North America. Afterward, look for the Dantes View Road turnoff on your left. Turn onto Dantes View Road and drive for about 13 miles. The road is steep and winding, but it offers stunning views of the valley below. You will eventually reach the Dante's Ridge (Mt Perry) Trailhead parking area on your right.
