To reach Big C by car, start by navigating to Berkeley, CA 94720. If you're coming from San Francisco, take I-80 E toward Berkeley. Take exit 23 for University Ave. and continue onto University Ave. for about 1.5 miles. Turn left onto Oxford St., then take a right onto Hearst Ave. Follow Hearst Ave. until you reach the entrance to the UC Berkeley campus. Look for parking options in the area, as parking may require a fee depending on the location. Once parked, head toward the east side of campus, following signs for the Big C, which is located on a hilltop and may require a short hike up a steep path.

Public Transportation
To get to Big C using public transportation, take the BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) to the Downtown Berkeley station. From there, you can catch the AC Transit bus #66 towards El Cerrito del Norte BART, or you can choose to walk. If you walk, head east on University Ave., then turn left onto Oxford St. Continue straight to reach the UC Berkeley campus. Follow signs for the Big C, which is accessible via a steep trail on the east side of the campus. Note that public transportation may have a fare, usually around $2.50 for a BART ride, and bus fares range from $1.50 to $3.00 depending on the distance.
