From central Berkeley, head north on Shattuck Avenue. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with University Avenue. Turn left onto University Avenue and follow it for about 1.5 miles. As you approach the hills, look for signs directing you to Tilden Regional Park. Once in the park, follow the signs to Founders Rock. Parking is available near the entrance to the park, and there may be a small fee for parking, typically around $5 for the day.
