    Public Transit

    If you're starting from downtown Glendale, head to the Glendale Transportation Center located at 400 W Cerritos Ave. From there, take the Metro Bus Line 180 towards Burbank. Get off at the stop at Glenoaks Blvd & San Fernando Rd. From there, transfer to the Metro Bus Line 94 towards Sun Valley. Ride for about 15 minutes and get off at the stop at Magnolia Blvd & Pass Ave. Walk south on Pass Ave for about 10 minutes, then turn right onto the entrance of the Backbone Trail, which will be on your left.

    Walking

    If you're near the Glendale Galleria, you can walk to Backbone Trail. Start by heading west on W Colorado St towards N Maryland Ave. Continue walking straight, which will take you to the entrance of the trail. The walk will take approximately 30 minutes. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated!

    Bicycle

    If you have access to a bicycle, you can ride from the Glendale Galleria. Head west on W Colorado St, then turn left onto N Pacific Ave. Continue straight until you reach the trail entrance.
