Getting There

• Public Bus

  From central Glendale, walk to the nearest bus stop on Brand Blvd and take Metro Bus Line 90 towards La Cañada Flintridge. Ride the bus for about 20-25 minutes until you reach the stop at Descanso Dr and Foothill Blvd. From there, walk approximately 0.5 miles down Descanso Dr to Descanso Gardens, which will be on your right.

• Bike

  If you have a bicycle, you can ride from Glendale to Descanso Gardens. Start by heading east on Colorado Blvd until you reach the intersection with Verdugo Rd. Continue on Verdugo Rd, which will take you north. Follow Verdugo Rd until you reach Foothill Blvd, then turn left. Continue on Foothill Blvd until you see Descanso Dr. Turn right onto Descanso Dr, and the gardens will be on your left after about 0.5 miles.

• Walking

  For those who prefer to walk, start at the Glendale Galleria. Head east on Colorado Blvd towards Verdugo Rd, and continue straight as it turns into Foothill Blvd. This is a long walk of approximately 2.5 miles, so be prepared. Once you reach the intersection with Descanso Dr, turn right and walk about 0.5 miles to reach Descanso Gardens, which will be on your left.

• Rideshare

  For a more direct route, consider using a rideshare service like Uber or Lyft. Open the app, set your pickup location in Glendale, and enter 'Descanso Gardens' or the address '1418 Descanso Dr, La Cañada Flintridge, CA 91011' as your destination. The ride should take around 15-20 minutes depending on traffic.
