From the Glendale Galleria, walk to the nearest bus stop at 100 W Colorado St. Take the Metro Bus line 92 towards the 'LAX City Bus Center'. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the stop at 'S La Cienega Blvd & W 83rd St'. Transfer to the Metro Bus line 115 towards 'Inglewood'. After about 20 minutes, get off at 'S Marine Ave & Playa Del Rey Beach'. From there, it's just a short walk to the beach.

If you're in the downtown area of Glendale, start by walking to the nearest Metro station, which is the Glendale Station. Take the Metro Red Line towards Union Station, and transfer at Union Station to the Metro Blue Line towards Washington Station. Get off at the 'Aviation/LAX' station. From there, you can catch the FlyAway Bus service to LAX, and then take a local bus to Playa Del Rey Beach, which is just a few minutes away.
