Start at the Hayward BART Station located at 699 B Street. Take the BART train towards San Francisco/Daly City. Get off at the 24th Street Mission Station. From there, transfer to the 48 bus towards Bayview-Hunters Point. Ride the bus until you reach the stop at Hunters Point Expy & Arelious Walker Dr. From the bus stop, walk towards the water along Hunters Point Expy for about 10 minutes to reach Candlestick Point State Recreation Area at 500 Hunters Point Expy, San Francisco, CA 94124.

From downtown Hayward, head north on Mission Blvd towards the San Francisco Bay. After approximately 3 miles, you will reach the Bay Trail. Follow the Bay Trail north along the water, which will provide scenic views of the bay. Continue along the trail until you arrive at Candlestick Point State Recreation Area. The ride is about 10 miles total and will take approximately 45-60 minutes, depending on your speed.

If you're feeling adventurous, start at the Hayward BART Station, then walk north on B Street to Mission Blvd. Follow Mission Blvd north until you can access the Bay Trail.
