    From downtown Hayward, walk to the Hayward BART station located at 699 B St, Hayward, CA 94541. Take the BART train towards San Francisco/Daly City. Stay on the train for about 30 minutes and get off at the 16th St. Mission station. Once you exit the station, walk north on 16th St toward Mission St, then turn left on Mission St. Continue walking for about 5 minutes until you reach the Mission District.

    If you're comfortable riding a bicycle, you can rent one from a local shop in Hayward. Start at the Hayward City Hall and head north on Mission Blvd toward San Francisco. Follow the bike lane along Mission Blvd for about 12 miles, which will take you directly into San Francisco. Once you reach the city, continue straight until you hit the Mission District.
