    Public Transit - BART

    From any location in Hayward, make your way to the Hayward BART station. You can walk or take a local bus to get there. Once at the station, purchase a ticket to San Francisco. Board a train heading towards San Francisco/Daly City. After about 30 minutes, disembark at the Embarcadero station. From there, transfer to the Muni bus or light rail to get to the North Beach area. Take the 39 Coit bus or walk towards Telegraph Hill, which is located nearby.

    You can take the AC Transit bus line 21 from Hayward to the San Francisco Transbay Terminal. Once you arrive at the terminal, you can switch to the Muni buses (like the 41 or 39) heading towards North Beach. Get off at the stop closest to the base of Telegraph Hill, then follow the signs or ask locals for directions to the hill itself.
