    Public Transit

    From Hayward BART Station, take the BART train towards San Francisco/Daly City. Ride for about 30 minutes until you reach the Montgomery St. Station in San Francisco. Exit the station and transfer to the MUNI Metro. Board the 'F' Market & Wharves line towards Castro. Ride for approximately 25 minutes, and get off at the Castro Station. From there, it's a short walk to The Castro, located at San Francisco, CA 94114.

    If you are close to downtown Hayward, start at the Hayward City Hall. Head north on Main St towards Winton Ave. Turn left onto Winton Ave and then right onto Mission Blvd. Follow Mission Blvd until you reach the Hayward BART Station. Then follow the public transit instructions above to get to The Castro.

    Bus

    From Hayward, you can take AC Transit Bus 60 from the Hayward Transit Center. Ride the bus for about 20 minutes until you reach the Bayfair BART Station. Transfer to BART and take the train towards San Francisco/Daly City. Get off at Montgomery St. Station, then follow the MUNI Metro instructions to reach The Castro.
