Walking
From your current location in Hollywood, head south on Hollywood Blvd toward Highland Ave. Continue walking straight for about 1 mile until you reach the intersection with Sunset Blvd. Turn left onto Sunset Blvd and walk for another half mile until you reach the intersection with N Cahuenga Blvd. Here, you will catch the Metro Red Line at the Hollywood/Highland Station. Take the Metro Red Line toward Union Station. After about 5 stops, get off at the 'Chinatown' station. Upon exiting the station, you will find yourself in the heart of Chinatown, Los Angeles.
Public Transit (Bus)
From any point in Hollywood, locate the nearest bus stop. You can catch the Metro Bus Line 212 or 217 which travels toward the Civic Center. Make sure to check the schedule for bus arrival times. Ride the bus until you reach the 'Hill St & 1st St' stop. From there, walk east on 1st St, then turn left onto N Broadway. Continue walking until you reach the entrance to Chinatown, which is just a short walk away.
