Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Hollywood Walk of Fame (located at 6925 Hollywood Blvd), head east along Hollywood Boulevard. The Hollywood Footprints are right in front of the TCL Chinese Theatre, which is also located on Hollywood Blvd. You will see the footprints and handprints of famous stars embedded in the concrete. This is a short walk of about 5 minutes if you are starting from the Walk of Fame.

  • Public Transport

    If you are further away, you can take the Metro Red Line subway to the Hollywood/Highland station. Once you exit the station, follow the signs to Hollywood Boulevard. Head west on Hollywood Boulevard for about 5 minutes until you reach the TCL Chinese Theatre, where the Hollywood Footprints are located. This will be a short walk of approximately 0.5 miles.

  • Walking

    From the Hollywood Bowl, you can walk to the Hollywood Footprints. Head southeast on N Highland Ave for about 0.5 miles until you reach Hollywood Boulevard. Turn right onto Hollywood Blvd and walk for about 10 minutes. The TCL Chinese Theatre, and the Hollywood Footprints will be on your left.

  • Public Transport

    If you are at Universal Studios, you can take the Metro Red Line from Universal City Station towards Downtown LA. Get off at the Hollywood/Highland station. From there, head west on Hollywood Boulevard for a short walk of about 5 minutes. The Hollywood Footprints will be located in front of the TCL Chinese Theatre.

  • Walking

    From the Hollywood Sign viewpoint (Griffith Park), you can take a ride-share or public bus to Hollywood Boulevard. Once you reach Hollywood Blvd, walk east for about 10-15 minutes until you arrive at the TCL Chinese Theatre, where you will find the Hollywood Footprints.
