Public Bus
From downtown Huntington Beach, walk to the nearest bus stop on Pacific Coast Highway (PCH). Board the Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) Bus Route 1 towards Long Beach. Stay on the bus for about 15-20 minutes. Get off at the Bolsa Chica State Beach stop. From there, walk north along the beach access path. Follow the signs to Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve, which will be approximately a 10-minute walk. The entrance is located at 18000 CA-1.

Bicycle
If you prefer biking, rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in downtown Huntington Beach. Head south on the boardwalk along the beach. Continue biking along the beach path until it turns inland. Follow the path until you reach Pacific Coast Highway (PCH). Turn right and bike north for about 1 mile. The entrance to Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve will be on your right at 18000 CA-1.

Walking
If you are close to the beach, you can walk to Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve. Start from the Huntington Beach Pier and walk south along the beach. Continue until you reach the Bolsa Chica State Beach area. At the end of the beach, walk up towards the highway (Pacific Coast Highway) and then walk north for about 10 minutes. The entrance will be located at 18000 CA-1.
