From downtown Huntington Beach, walk to the nearest bus stop on Pacific Coast Highway (PCH). Board the Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) Bus Route 1 towards Long Beach. Stay on the bus for about 15-20 minutes. Get off at the Bolsa Chica State Beach stop. From there, walk north along the beach access path. Follow the signs to Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve, which will be approximately a 10-minute walk. The entrance is located at 18000 CA-1.
