Iconic Huntington Beach Sign: A Historical Landmark

Getting There

• Walking

  From the Main Street area in Downtown Huntington Beach, head south on Main Street towards Pacific Coast Highway (CA-1). At the intersection with Pacific Coast Highway, turn left (heading east). Walk along the sidewalk for about 0.5 miles. After crossing the intersection at Warner Avenue, you will see the Huntington Beach Sign on your left, located in a small park area just off the highway. The sign is a popular spot for photos and is easily accessible.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Downtown Huntington Beach. Once you have your bike, head south on Main Street towards Pacific Coast Highway (CA-1). Turn left onto Pacific Coast Highway and continue biking for about 0.5 miles. The Huntington Beach Sign will be on your left in a small park area just off the highway. Make sure to follow traffic rules and use bike lanes where available.

• Public Transit (Bus)

  For those using public transport, you can take the Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) bus. Look for bus routes that service Main Street or Pacific Coast Highway in Downtown Huntington Beach. You can board the bus at any nearby bus stop. Make sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time as service may vary. Get off at the stop closest to Warner Avenue on Pacific Coast Highway, then walk about 5 minutes north to reach the Huntington Beach Sign located in a small park area.
