Walking
From Huntington Beach Pier, head south along the beach boardwalk. You will enjoy a scenic walk with the ocean on your left. Continue walking for about 0.3 miles (approximately 6 minutes). The boardwalk will lead you directly to Pier Plaza, which is a vibrant area with shops and eateries. After exploring Pier Plaza, proceed towards the Amphitheatre, which is located at 401 CA-1. To reach the Amphitheatre, walk back to CA-1 and cross at the designated crosswalk. The Amphitheatre will be on your left.

If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bike from one of the local rental shops near Huntington Beach Pier. After renting your bike, head south along the beach path. It takes roughly 5-7 minutes to reach Pier Plaza. From Pier Plaza, continue biking towards the Amphitheatre by heading towards CA-1. Once you reach CA-1, turn left and bike for about 0.1 miles until you arrive at the Amphitheatre. Ensure you follow all bike lanes and pedestrian paths for safety.

Public Transportation
Although public transportation is not the most direct method from Huntington Beach Pier to Pier Plaza and the Amphitheatre, if you choose to utilize it, you can catch the OCTA bus number 1 at a stop near the pier. Take the bus heading north and disembark at the stop near Pacific Coast Highway and Main Street. From there, it is a short 5-minute walk south to reach Pier Plaza, and another 2-3 minutes to walk to the Amphitheatre. Note that the bus fare is $1.75.
