Getting There

• Walking

  From your current location in Huntington Central Park, head southwest towards the intersection of Goldenwest Street and Talbert Avenue. Walk along the park's pathways until you reach Goldenwest Street. Once you arrive at Goldenwest Street, turn right and continue walking north for about 0.5 miles. You will then reach the intersection with Newland Street. Turn left onto Newland Street, and Bauer Park will be on your right at 21401 Newland St. It's approximately a 15-20 minute walk from the center of Huntington Central Park.

• Bicycle

  If you have access to a bicycle, you can take advantage of the bike-friendly paths in Huntington Central Park. Start by cycling towards the park exit onto Goldenwest Street. Turn right onto Goldenwest Street and bike north for about 0.5 miles. When you reach the intersection with Newland Street, turn left, and you will find Bauer Park on your right at 21401 Newland St. The bike ride should take around 10 minutes.

• Public Transportation (Bus)

  You can take the Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) Bus to reach Bauer Park. From any point in Huntington Central Park, walk to the nearest bus stop on Goldenwest Street. Board the OCTA Bus route 53 heading north. Get off at the stop near Newland Street, and from there, it's a short walk. Head south on Newland Street, and you will reach Bauer Park at 21401 Newland St. The bus fare is approximately $2.00 one way.
