Public Transportation
From Inglewood, head to the nearest Metro station, which is the Crenshaw station. You can take the Metro C Line (Green) towards Expo/Crenshaw Station. Ride for about 10-15 minutes and get off at the Expo/Crenshaw station. Transfer to the Metro E Line (Expo) towards Santa Monica and ride it for about 20 minutes until you reach the Culver City station. Finally, from there, you can catch a bus (Big Blue Bus Route 1) that will take you directly to Venice Beach, which is a short walk from the Venice Canal Historic District.

Walking
If you are staying near the Inglewood city center, you can walk to the nearest bus stop on Manchester Blvd. Catch the Metro Bus Line 115 towards Marina Del Rey. Ride for about 30 minutes until you reach the Venice Blvd & Pacific Ave stop. From there, walk approximately 15 minutes west towards the Venice Canal Historic District. Follow Pacific Ave until you reach the canals, and enjoy the scenic views along the way.

For a more active route, consider renting a bike from a nearby rental shop in Inglewood. Head west towards Culver City on Jefferson Blvd. Continue on Jefferson Blvd until you reach the junction with Venice Blvd. Turn left on Venice Blvd and continue biking until you arrive at Venice Beach. From the beach, it's a short ride to the Venice Canal Historic District. The distance is about 8 miles and should take around 40-50 minutes, depending on your cycling speed.
