If you're traveling by car, start from the city center of Inland Empire. Take the I-10 East freeway toward Palm Springs. After about 30 miles, merge onto CA-62 East toward Twentynine Palms. Continue on CA-62 for approximately 30 miles until you reach the junction with Twentynine Palms. Turn left onto Utah Trail and continue until you reach the Joshua Tree National Park entrance. Keys Ranch is located within the park, so you'll need to pay the entrance fee ($30 per vehicle valid for 7 days), then follow the signs to Keys View Road and then to Keys Ranch. The ranch is about 10 miles from the entrance. Make sure your vehicle is ready for desert driving, and carry water and supplies.
