    Getting There

    Bus

    To reach Alta Laguna Park from central Irvine, take the OCTA bus route 86 towards Laguna Beach. Board the bus at the Irvine Transportation Center, which can be reached by walking or taking a local bus to the center. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the stop at Laguna Beach Library. From there, walk north on Laguna Canyon Road for about 0.5 miles until you reach Alta Laguna Blvd. Turn left onto Alta Laguna Blvd, and the park entrance will be on your right.

    Bike

    If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike from one of the local bike rental shops in Irvine. Start your journey by heading south on Alton Parkway, then turn right onto Laguna Canyon Road. Follow this road for approximately 5 miles. Be cautious as you will be riding on the road, and watch for cars. When you reach Alta Laguna Blvd, turn right, and you will see the entrance to the park shortly after.

    Walking

    For a walking option, start from the center of Irvine (like the Irvine Spectrum Center). Walk east towards Alton Parkway and follow it until you reach Laguna Canyon Road. This path is about 6 miles, which will take approximately 2 hours to walk. Be sure to stay on sidewalks and watch for traffic. Once you reach Laguna Canyon Road, head south until you reach Alta Laguna Blvd. Turn left, and you will arrive at Alta Laguna Park.
