Get off at the stop nearest to Elephant Hill. Follow the signs to the trailhead, which should be a short walk from the bus stop.

Make your way to the Irvine train station and board the Metrolink train towards Pomona. This train ride will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Pomona station, exit and look for the local bus service that can take you closer to Elephant Hill. You can take bus route 197 which will bring you to a stop near the trailhead. From there, it's a short walk to reach Elephant Hill.

If you enjoy cycling, rent a bike from one of the bike rental shops in Irvine. Head northwest on Barranca Parkway towards Culver Drive, then turn left onto Culver Drive. Continue straight until you reach Jamboree Road and then turn right. Follow Jamboree Road until it turns into Foothill Blvd, which will lead you towards Pomona. Keep an eye on the bike lanes and be cautious around traffic. The ride may take about an hour and a half, and once you arrive in Pomona, follow local maps to find your way to Elephant Hill.
