Public Bus
Start at the Irvine Transportation Center. Take the Orange County Transit Authority (OCTA) Bus Line 86 towards Orange. Stay on the bus for approximately 25 minutes until you reach the stop at Glassell St and Chapman Ave. From there, transfer to OCTA Bus Line 24 towards Santa Ana. Ride for about 10 minutes and get off at the stop at the intersection of Irvine Park Rd. Walk east along Irvine Park Rd for about 10 minutes until you arrive at Irvine Park Railroad located at 1 Irvine Park Rd, Orange, CA 92869.
Bicycle
If you are in the central area of Irvine, you can rent a bike from a nearby rental service. Head towards the Peters Canyon Regional Park via Peters Canyon Rd. Once you reach the park, continue on the designated bike trails heading towards the east. Follow the trails until you reach the intersection with Santiago Canyon Rd. Turn right and bike along Santiago Canyon Rd until you reach Irvine Park Rd. Make a left and continue straight for about 1 mile until you see the entrance to Irvine Park Railroad at 1 Irvine Park Rd, Orange, CA 92869.
Walking
If you are staying in the nearby neighborhoods, begin walking towards the nearest major street, which is Chapman Ave. Follow Chapman Ave heading east until you reach Glassell St. Turn south (right) and continue walking down Glassell St until you reach the intersection with Irvine Park Rd. Turn left onto Irvine Park Rd and walk straight for about 1 mile. You will see the entrance to Irvine Park Railroad at 1 Irvine Park Rd, Orange, CA 92869.
