Getting There

    From the Irvine Transportation Center, take the Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) bus route 89 towards the Orange Metrolink Station. The bus runs every 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Orange Metrolink Station, transfer to bus route 24. Stay on the bus until you reach the stop at 'Irvine Regional Park'. The Orange County Zoo is located within Irvine Regional Park, just a short walk from the bus stop.

    If you prefer to bike, start from the Irvine Spectrum Center and head northeast on the Jeffrey Trail, which connects to the Santiago Creek Trail. Continue on the Santiago Creek Trail until you reach Irvine Regional Park. Follow the signs within the park to the Orange County Zoo. The total distance is about 8 miles, so ensure you have enough time and water for the ride.
