From downtown Irvine, head to the Irvine Transit Center. Take the OCTA bus route 55 towards 'Orange'. Once on the bus, stay on until you reach the stop at 'Chapman Ave and Tustin St'. From there, transfer to bus route 86 towards 'Orange'. Get off at 'Irvine Park Rd'. The park entrance will be a short walk from the bus stop.

If you are comfortable riding a bicycle, start at the Irvine Spectrum Center. Head north on the bike path along Jeronimo Road until you reach Alton Parkway. Turn left onto Alton Parkway and continue until you reach the intersection with Irvine Blvd. Take a right onto Irvine Blvd and then a left onto Jamboree Road. Continue on Jamboree which will lead you to the entrance of Irvine Regional Park.

If you are staying near the Orange County Great Park, you can walk to Irvine Regional Park. Start by heading south on the path towards Marine Way. Turn left onto Marine Way, then right onto Sand Canyon Ave. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Irvine Blvd. Cross Irvine Blvd and continue straight on the path until you reach the entrance to Irvine Regional Park.
