To reach Laguna Niguel Regional Park from central Irvine, start by walking to the nearest bus stop where you can catch the Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) bus. Look for Bus Route 86, which travels towards Laguna Niguel. Board the bus and stay on for approximately 25 minutes. Get off at the stop closest to the park on La Paz Road. From there, it's a short walk to the park entrance.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the bike-sharing stations in Irvine. Head south on Alton Parkway until you reach the intersection with La Paz Road. Turn left onto La Paz Road and continue straight for about 3 miles. The park will be on your right. Make sure to follow bike lanes where available and wear a helmet for safety.

For those who enjoy walking, you can start your journey from the Irvine Spectrum Center. Walk south on Pacifica Avenue until you reach Alton Parkway. Turn right and continue walking along Alton Parkway. After about 1.5 miles, you will reach the intersection with La Paz Road. Turn left onto La Paz Road, and you will see Laguna Niguel Regional Park ahead. The total walking distance is approximately 3 miles, so wear comfortable shoes.
