Public Bus
To reach the Pirate Tower, start by finding a nearby bus stop. Look for routes that head towards Laguna Beach. You can take the OC Bus Line 89 or 1. Once on the bus, make sure to stay on until you reach the stop at Pacific Coast Highway and Thalia Street. From there, exit the bus and walk south along Pacific Coast Highway for about 0.5 miles until you reach the entrance to Thousand Steps Beach. The Pirate Tower is located at the end of the beach, up a set of stairs on the right side.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from a local rental shop in Irvine. Head towards the Laguna Beach area via the Aliso Creek Bike Trail. Follow the trail until you reach the Pacific Coast Highway. Once you arrive at the highway, head south for about 1 mile along the coast until you spot the entrance to Thousand Steps Beach. The Pirate Tower is at the end of the beach, accessible via a staircase.
Walking
If you are close to the beach area, you can walk directly to the Pirate Tower. From the main beach entrance at Thousand Steps Beach, descend the stairs to the beach. Once on the beach, walk to the right until you reach the Pirate Tower. It's about a 10-minute walk along the sand. Just remember to check the tide schedule to ensure the beach is accessible.
