Getting There

  • Bus

    From the center of Irvine, head to the nearest bus stop. Take the OCTA bus route 86 towards Laguna Beach. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the stop labeled 'Laguna Beach - Pacific Coast Highway & Thalia Street'. From there, walk west towards the ocean, then turn left on Thalia Street. Continue until you reach W Ridge. Follow W Ridge uphill for about 15 minutes until you arrive at Top of the World.

    If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bicycle from a local bike shop in Irvine. Start on the bike path heading towards Laguna Beach. Follow the Aliso Creek bike trail, which will lead you through scenic areas. Once you reach Laguna Beach, head towards W Ridge. The ride will take about 45 minutes, and you’ll enjoy beautiful views along the way. When you get to W Ridge, park your bike in a designated area and walk to the Top of the World viewpoint.

Follow Alton Parkway until you reach the Pacific Coast Highway (PCH). Turn left onto the PCH and head south. After about a mile, turn right onto Thalia Street, continue walking until you reach W Ridge. The walk will take approximately 1.5 hours, but you’ll have the chance to see various shops and attractions along the way.
