If you're in central Irvine, start by walking to the nearest bus stop on Alton Parkway. Look for the OCTA (Orange County Transportation Authority) bus route 53. Board the bus heading towards the Turtle Rock area. Stay on the bus for about 15 minutes, and listen for the Turtle Rock Community Park stop. Once you get off, walk east towards Sunnyhill, and you will see the Turtle Rock Nature Center on your left at 1 Sunnyhill, Irvine, CA 92603.

From the center of Irvine, rent a bike from a nearby rental shop. Head south on Alton Parkway, then take a left onto Turtle Rock Drive. Continue straight until you reach Sunnyhill. The nature center will be on your left. The ride should take about 15-20 minutes, depending on your pace.
