    Begin your journey at the Irvine Transportation Center. Take the Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) bus route 86 towards Laguna Hills. After approximately 20 minutes, get off at the stop at Portola Parkway and Sand Canyon Avenue. From there, walk north on Portola Parkway for about 10 minutes until you reach the entrance to the Portola Springs neighborhood. Continue walking straight into Portola Springs, and you will find the Portola Expedition Monument on your left, near the community park.
