    Start from the center of Joshua Tree, at the Joshua Tree Visitor Center located at 6465 Park Blvd. Head south on Park Blvd until you reach the intersection with Highway 62. Turn right (west) on Highway 62 and walk for about 1.5 miles. You will pass a few shops and restaurants along the way. Continue straight until you reach the junction with N Gene Autry Trail. Turn left onto N Gene Autry Trail and walk another 0.7 miles. The Palm Springs Air Museum will be on your right, located at 745 N Gene Autry Trail.

  • Bicycle

    If you're renting a bicycle in Joshua Tree, start from the Joshua Tree Visitor Center at 6465 Park Blvd. Ride south on Park Blvd until you reach Highway 62. Turn right onto Highway 62 and continue for about 1.5 miles. Stay on the bicycle lane as you pass shops and restaurants, then turn left onto N Gene Autry Trail. Continue for about 0.7 miles, and the Palm Springs Air Museum will be on your right at 745 N Gene Autry Trail.

From there, you will need to walk approximately 1.2 miles heading north on N Palm Canyon Dr, then turn right onto E Tahquitz Canyon Way and continue until you reach N Gene Autry Trail. Turn left and walk for about 0.5 miles; the museum will be on your left at 745 N Gene Autry Trail.
